How I managed to lose 10 pounds in 30 days and still keep it off... And all with a safe and balanced diet and a change of lifestyle in a nice way.

Hello, My name is Jane I am 26 years old, and like so many young adults and since being a teenage girl, I was overweight and unhappy, I wasn't extremely over weight, but enough to be unhappy and hate my chubby silhouette and always wanted to lose my extra fat and weight. Which was emphasised more whenever I was out with my friends the gaze of the boys would normally be on my best friend Natasa, who had a petit hour glass figure. Which meant that usually I was not the first pick of the boys and normally resulted in my friends having boyfriend's and I missing out.

I've always had a few extra pounds but after my 18th birthday it seemed to be getting worse. And after a while I was spiralling more and more into obesity. It was sort of one thing leading to another, no boyfriend or social life, and this resulted in not being happy in general, so I was eating to comfort myself. However, Late in December of 2007, I was introduced to this really hot boy who had come to our house, (He was the son of one of my fathers colleagues who had come over to share a family meal at our house). He didnt really pay much attention to me and that had hurt really bad, as before I thought Boys didnt pay attention to me as my friend Natasa was more prettier, but this time we were the only young people in the room. So thats what changed my mindset and life forever. I was so bewitched by this boy (by the way his name was Simon) I decided to go on a diet and lose my extra pounds, in the hope of wooing him at another gathering in the future.

Making a desision and sticking to it.

As I said before I wanted to lose weight and fast not just to impress the handsome young man I had met, but also to feel better with myself, I already had greasy pimply skin and trouble with sporting activitys and I just wanted my life back. As I was too embarressed to go to the local shops and ask for help I decided to look for a solution online. Unfortunetely I didn't make the best decisions right from the start but was dragged in by internet scams and pills promising quick weight loss. Although one pill I bought online did help in the begining, but as soon as I stopped taking it the pounds came back almost twice as fast as I had taken to lose them and I would have to buy more pills to continue. And I'm telling you these pills were not cheap!

After that I decided I wouldnt take any more pills and try to lose weight by way of dieting. I tried Atkins, Southbeach and other diets which all seemed to help but were never permanent and always I found the pounds came back just as soon as I stopped the diet. This wasnt just a diet plan but a I was about to go through a change of lifestyle for the better.

After a week I had noticed the difference already, but was trying not to be optimistic, as I had already been down this path and came back dissappointed. After the second week I was starting to get into a new way of eating and combining light exercise to actually have lost 6 pounds. And this wasnt from fluid depletion as I was drinking at least two pints of water per day as part of the diet.

At last it seemed that I had found the way to lose my extra weight without having to suffer from hunger pains or dangerous drugs or diets. And whats more I was feeling healthier for it. It fact after 30 days I had lost over 10+ pounds and there was no sign of it coming back.
